Leading Age Services Australia (LASA) is the national peak body representing all age service providers.
We are the only industry peak body acting on behalf of private sector and not-for-profit providers delivering retirement living, home care and residential aged care services.
On behalf of our members, we work with governments, health and community services and other stakeholders to improve standards, equality and efficiency within age services.
We do this through:
- Actively engaging members and ensuring they are influential in all our work
- Representing members’ interests on a range of committees and working groups
- Lobbying state and federal governments
- Hosting industry consultations and advisory groups
- Partnering with stakeholders across a range of industries
- Offering specialised services to our members
- Delivering industry-wide events
- Working with media

Access: To enable all Australians timely access to high quality age services of their choice, regardless of their culture, background, location or entry point.
Quality: To enhance the quality of outcomes for all stakeholders to achieve an industry that enjoys a high level of public confidence.
Workforce: To have sufficient people and resources that meets health industry demand via a workforce that is available, inspired, skilled and valued.
Economic: To ensure providers have sufficient funding to deliver a fair and affordable system of care and accommodation and deliver access to meet ageing forecasts.
Capability: Execute the vision and mission of LASA to become the national voice of advocacy and the provision of services to providers.
